Garbage collection service is provided by The City of Calgary every week on Thursday. Residents are advised to have their garbage placed at curbside for collection: - no later than 7:00 am on the day of collection, or - no earlier than 7:00 pm on the day before collection.

Although there is no specified bag limit, the total weight of each bag and contents must not exceed 20 kilograms. From time to time, garbage collection is delayed due to unforseen circumstances (truck breakdown, etc.).
